Swiss Leading House sub-Saharan Africa: Research Partnership Grant

SERI has mandated the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute – supported by the University of Basel and the Centre for Development and Environment at the University of Bern – as the Swiss Leading House for sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative aims to strengthen scientific cooperation and collaboration between Switzerland and countries in the sub-Saharan region. They have announced a Research Partnership Grant to promote scientific cooperation between researchers in Switzerland and the sub-Saharan region. The grant will support joint activities at an early stage, laying the foundation for larger cooperation projects and the acquisition of further funding.

The funding instrument is open to researchers from all disciplines and career stages.

Maximum Eligible Budget (by Research Career Stage):
Early Career: up to CHF 15,000
Intermediate Career: up to CHF 25,000
Advanced Career: up to CHF 40,000
