Every year, the DBU offers 45 doctoral scholarships to young scientists from all disciplines who are conducting advanced research in the field of environmental protection. The doctorate must be written at a German university. Applications are also possible from foreigners who are eligible to doctorate. The scholarship is evaluated twice a year by a selection committee made up of professors from various disciplines.
