The Paul Schiller Foundation supports charitable projects that promote sustainable development, foster an inclusive society, have a multiplying effect or are topical and in the general interest. They also support the personal commitment of individuals and groups. The Foundation's funds are not intended to be used to relieve the public purse, but to promote innovative and complementary projects on a private and institutional basis.
Areas of support:
Social affairs and society: The Paul Schiller Foundation is committed to an inclusive society. It strengthens the participation and equal opportunities of all population groups - children, young people and the elderly - and all ethnic and religious communities. It also promotes the independent and critical examination of current issues.
Culture: The Paul Schiller Foundation is committed to cultural participation. It supports projects that provide access to culture and enable people to engage with and learn about culture and the arts.
Nature and resources: The use of nature and resources should be as efficient, careful and sustainable as possible. This is why the Paul Schiller Foundation is just as committed to imparting knowledge about nature as it is to protecting habitats and promoting sustainable land use and spatial development. The projects can be research-, concept- or practice-orientated.
