The BRIDGE Proof of Concept funding program promotes the further development of scientific results in order to evaluate their economic and/or social potential. It supports researchers who want to implement their research results with a view to entrepreneurial activity or with a partner from the private or public sector. The evaluation criteria include the commitment to sustainable development (and the impact on the economy, society and the environment) in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Projects can deal with all types of innovation from all research areas.
