Since 2019, the Thurgau Science Network has awarded the Walter Enggist Research Prize annually. The prize is endowed with CHF 15,000 and honours work that is related to the canton of Thurgau in terms of personnel or content.
On the one hand, the Walter Enggist Research Prize is intended to honour a scientific achievement. On the other hand, the prize money is intended to help make future scientific work possible.
The Thurgau Foundation for Science and Research awards a prize worth CHF 3,000 to the best submission from young researchers who do not hold a doctorate or professorship.
