The Foundation attaches particular importance to innovative research that provides new and original solutions (1) to a harmonious and balanced management of the city, (2) to the promotion of human, economic, social and cultural activities, (3) to the enrichment of communication and social interaction and (4) to support for disadvantaged people to facilitate their socio-cultural integration, autonomy, self-fulfilment and dignity. The Foundation allocates a total amount of 20'000 CHF each year, including a bonus of 10'000 CHF for the winner of the competition.
