Early Career Award of the SAGW

The Early Career Award of the SAGW is dedicated to young academics in Switzerland. The aim of the award is to support researchers at an early stage of their career in the humanities and social sciences in Switzerland. The prize honours three articles of outstanding quality that have been published in a scientific publication format. The prize, worth a total of CHF 18,000, is awarded every spring at the annual meeting of the SAGW.

Applications for the prize must include the following documents: the article, a CV and a letter of application of no more than two pages. In this letter, the candidate must explain the originality of the article, the contribution it makes to research in the relevant subject and the extent to which the submitted text could be of interest to other disciplines. Articles written in German, French, Italian or English will be accepted.
