SNSF: Agora

Agora supports researchers from all disciplines and career stages who want to communicate with the public. The scheme aims to promote the spread of knowledge as well as the exchange of views and perspectives about scientific research. The Agora scheme aims to foster dialogue between scientists and society. It encourages researchers to communicate their current research to an audience of lay people.

Agora projects have to initiate a direct dialogue between researchers and the public in which they interact and listen to each other. The SNSF distinguishes between Agora Projects (submission deadline annually in September, funding from CHF 5'000 to 200'000) and Agora Rolling Call Projects (submission at any time, funding from CHF 5'000 to 50'000).
