The Research Committee supports the awarding from funds for scientific events, in particular scientific conferences, workshops and symposia at the University of St.Gallen. Preference is given to scientific events with a public character and a clearly defined scientific objective. The following groups of people are eligible to apply: Full professors, assiciate professors, assistant professors, permanent lecturers, Bridge professors of the University of Zuich.
The Fund can cover the following costs: Travelling expenses and accommodation for external participants, Costs for premises or rental that have to be paid to the University of St. Gallen, catering costs for the participants on the event, organisational costs . Fees for speakers, publication contributions and social events are not eligible for funding.
