Singapore Management University (SMU), a dynamic and globally engaged university with recognised strengths in areas such as management, computing, law, economics, and social sciences, invites outstanding talents to join us as tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor under the University’s new Presidential Early Career Professorship (SMU-PEP) Scheme.
The inaugural call invites applications from candidates whose research interests align closely with SMU’s strategic research priorities in
Digital Transformation, Sustainable Living, and Growth in Asia. Early career scholars from any academic discipline whose work addresses the challenges of future ageing societies, sustainable cities, or resilient workforces are especially encouraged to apply.
Candidates should have earned a PhD (or equivalent) within the past 6 years (or are awaiting formal graduation), with an excellent research track record and demonstrated potential for impactful, interdisciplinary contributions.
The expected start date is 1 July 2026, or as mutually agreed.
