Interdisciplinary approaches across social sciences and humanities (SSH) are strongly encouraged to address the themes of sustainability, equity, well-being and cultural connections. At the same time, the call is open for other disciplines to be included in proposals, provided this is within the remit of funding agencies of respective countries, as long as their major focus remains within the remits of SSH. Projects should make creative use of the skills and perspectives of researchers located in India and in Europe and are expected to explicitly address the added value of the India-EU collaboration and build upon mutual European and Indian learning.
